After the patch I decided to test out the capabilities of a Dual Wield enhancement specced shaman. After being restoration specced for a long time (about 8 months) I felt it was time for a change. I decided to go for the High Warlord weapons in order to truly experience the full potential of the Dual Wield Spec. I farmed (with help from my friend) honour constantly for a week and got enough honour to buy the High Warlord Cleaver and Dagger- and I had enough Honour left over to buy the shoulders. I decided to test out the actual DPS provided with dual Windfury- all I can say is "wow". It's hard in the BG's because, unlike warriors, rogues, feral druids and paladins, shamans don't have any crowd control whatsoever (GJ blizz...) so survivability is definately a problem- but in PvE and in burst damage PvP the DPS is immense- on a mage I got a 2.5k Windfury Crit with my mainhand then followed by a 1k crit from my offhand- Art wasn't happy (lol).
Anyway, As the expansion rolls on, Survivability will be a bit easier (more levels- more talent points into restoration) because of the no interruption healing talents.
