Well, had quite a lot that has been happening so far this week, on Saturday I got revered with Netherwing and got a funky trinket with +45 stamina and also the ability to summon a Netherwing ally to help (it summons a Netherwhelp which attacks the mob you're attacking).
From Monday until Wednesday I was on a hiking (walking) trip with my school. There were 16 of us split into 3 groups for a 30 mile trek over 3 days (that's about 50 kilometres for those of you who aren't particularly familiar with the mileage system). Basically by wednesday everyone was tired, dirty and pretty irritable, so when it finished everyone was very relieved (me included). The first day we did 21 kilometres in 8 hours- that was the longest day by far and the one where everyone was incredibly pissed off by the end of it.
Netherwing progress
The Netherwing rep grind is going fine, as I said above, I got Revered with the Netherwing on Saturday, which opened up a fun "defend your base" quest. The way Blizzard designed the rep grind is a absolutely fantastic way in my opinion. You do just enough quests per day to keep people happy, but not too many so that it's too boring and time-consuming. At revered I can get 3-4k rep per day (depending on Netherwing eggs) and I like it, aswell as getting 110g for all the quests in total (always a nice extra)
Current Reputation: 12025/21000
I should get exalted by either Sunday or Monday (if I'm lucky), although with 2 schoolwork projects due in by Tuesday and Wednesday I might have to delay it a little bit.
PvP
The PvP in WoW is pretty much the same as always, as an Enhancement shaman I have to avoid getting the attention of the allies, but at the same time nuking the living shit out of them- quite a challenge :P
I decided that, in order for me to properly focus on PvP gear I would have to start using a 2hander instead of dual wielding. The reason for this is because the PvP and Arena gear has no +hit rating whatsoever, so I can't get much resilience gear as a Dual Wield shaman. I got all the mats for the Thunder 2-handed mace to use in the Arena and in general PvP. All I can say is it's very, very nice to see myself get a lucky Windfury crit and practically 1-shot an ally.
that was a very nice attack, mage was capping the flag in EotS, Stormstrike followed by a Windfury crit made very short work of her- me likes.Because of this revelation, I'm going to put my primal nethers forward to upgrading Thunder to Deep Thunder instead of my 1-handed mace. I kind of got into PvP pre-tbc, but now I'm liking it again.
Aloran- back to PvP'ing and Loving it (although still attending Kara ofc :P)
P.S. If you read this please post a comment- then I can get a rough idea of how many people are reading my blog :)
